Kwahu-Tafo Royal Music Academy
A music academy has been established in Kwahu-Tafo to promote traditional and modern musical talent and culture in the town through generous funding from ie:music. The academy will enable Tafo to support its traditional musical culture as well as foster new talents in popular music.

The generous funding from UK star Robbie Williams's management company ie:music has enabled us to found a music academy under the patronage of Kwahu-Tafo's traditional drum chief. The drum chief is a talented musician and enthusiastic promoter of Tafo's traditional and modern music culture.
The donation has enabled us to rent premises, purchase equipment and instruments and employ music teachers. The academy is now offering daily music classes to almost 90 members of the town in singing, traditional drumming, brass band and keyboard.

and Nana Abomaahene, the Chief of Drums
The founding of the academy will enable the town to establish ceremonial performing groups, bands and choirs to perform at public occasions in Kwahu-Tafo and neighbouring towns which will bring income to the academy and performers.
