Building Blocks!

We asked for your help and you responded!
An Admin Block and a Dining Hall for the Senior High School's 340 students have leapt up under the daily supervision of KTDC Chair Adwoa Yeboa, with Ghana International Bank and Douglas Turner Trust leading your donations.

New Projects

Girls' Science Club: Sutton Coldfield Grammar School For Girls is supporting the creation of a Girls' Science Club in Tafo. More than 250 excited girls turned up to hear about it!

Sustainable Tourism: We want to open up Kwahu-Tafo's rich natural and traditional heritage to visitors, and bring extra revenue to our development work. Info on our new initiative Saape Tours will be coming to our website soon.

What you can do...

Giving to FOT puts you directly in touch with a community where we make sure you see speedy effective results. We can find vital uses for whatever you can spare, and often fund a project that particularly interests you. With this Charity, it’s personal.

Donations: join our list of generous friends! Donations by cheque, standing order or internet: www.cafonline.org. Tafo’s teachers need cupboards in their bare classrooms to store the precious learning resources we are sending. They cost £45 each – can you help?

Major thanks to: Among other generous donations, Serco has funded the town’s first public notice board (left), a printer for the SHS, and a new grass-roots HIV/AIDS campaign. Peggy Cradduck donated a scanner and a printer which are now installed in the library. Thanks also to early bird Christmas card buyers and all of you who have personally given donations and attended our events.
