• Held Art and Play Competitions to mark Ghana's 50^th anniversary

  
  

• Hosted a two day visit from the National Theatre of Ghana, who performed two plays on very topical issues of teenage pregnancy and how to hold peaceful elections. On their second day they also held a 4 hour workshop for 15 young members of Sabarki Drama Group.

   

 

Health

• Funded a one year Eye Care programme

  

   
• Formed a Disabled Association(click here)
• Started a Disabled Action Plan to help operations, prosthetics etc
  
• Established the Presteigne Fund, the inspiration of Presteigne Medical Centre in Wales, for the medical benefit of the Tafo townspeople (so far principally paying the poorest people�s National Health Scheme subscriptions, helping out with the ancillary costs of operations (families travelling to support patients in hospital) and assisting the Disabled Action Plan with an artificial leg for a 12 year old girl)
