School Twinning
In 2004 Samuel Whitbread Community College (SWCC) in Bedfordshire twinned itself with the Kwahu-Tafo Methodist Junior Secondary School, and opened a connection between the pupils and the teachers which we hope will broaden experience on both sides. As a generous "Hello", SWCC collected  £500 at their school, and sent it to their twin school: the JSS Headmaster, staff and pupils decided to use it to begin rebuilding their tumbledown Kindergarten, and the entire JSS did drawings and messages of thanks to send back to SWCC.

Subsequent initiatives including a talent contest in December have raised another £1,000, and several SWCC pupils are expressing interest in going to spend time in Tafo.

We hope to enable more schools to become twinned with schools in Tafo - please contact us if you know of a school that would be interested.
