Repairing Wells
In 2005, Friends of Tafo received a request from the Kwahu Tafo Development Council to fund the repair of the town's wells. Many of the town's wells were found to be degenerating into an unsanitary condition
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The improvements to the wells are enormously appreciated by the countless households who use the water for domestic purposes. The water is fetched by children every day before school and by women during the day.
 
 
 

The KTDC are also anxious to provide covers for the wells, as there have recently been accidents where children drawing water have lost their balance and fallen in.
